Manchester City made sure they toasted lifting the Premier League trophy with another win after easing to a 1-0 win over Chelsea.

Julian Alvarez, deputising for Erling Haaland among nine changes for Pep Guardiola’s side, scored the only goal of the game in a drab affair.

City didn’t have to kick a ball as Arsenal were beaten 1-0 by Nottingham Forest on Saturday, ending the title race.

However, the much changed Citizens moved to 12 straight games in the Premier League to celebrate winning a third successive title.
